Who we are
RW Perio Limited, 75 Harley Street, Marylebone, London W1G 8QL, is responsible for personal data processed through the RW Perio app. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@rwperio.com.
This notice covers the app only. Our website has its own privacy policy at rwperio.com/privacy-policy. If you book or attend an appointment, the information we hold about you as a patient is handled separately as part of your dental records.
You don't need an account
The app doesn't ask you to register or log in, and it doesn't ask for your name, contact details or health information.
What the app uses
Notifications. If you allow notifications, your device is given a notification token so we can send you updates such as new podcast episodes and practice news. Apple and Google deliver these notifications to your device. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
Location. If you allow it, the app uses your location while you're using it to show how far you are from the clinic and to help with directions. We don't use your location to track you, and the app doesn't use your location in the background.
Usage statistics. The app collects anonymous statistics so we can see how it's used and improve it, such as which screens are viewed, your device model, operating system version, language and approximate country or city. We don't use these statistics to identify you.
Contacting us. If you call, email or message us from the app, we receive the details you choose to send, and we handle them in the same way as any other enquiry.
What we don't do
We don't show adverts in the app, we don't sell your data, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Who helps us run the app
The app is built and hosted on the GoodBarber platform, which processes data on our behalf in the European Union. Services you open from the app, such as our online booking system, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and video or podcast platforms, are run by other companies and their own privacy policies apply.
How long we keep data
Notification tokens are kept until you turn off notifications or delete the app. Anonymous statistics are kept only for as long as we need them to understand how the app is used.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred to you or another organisation. To exercise any of these rights, email info@rwperio.com. We aim to respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
The app isn't designed for children, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the app.
